Wellesley Island State Park has a bit of something for everyone. This relaxing park includes a variety of activities including: swimming, fishing, boating, camping, golfing and even gaming. This family friendly getaway has the largest camping complex in the Thousand Island's region and even allows up to 2 pets per campsite.

For those camping the park offers both both regular tent/trailer sites along with a cabin colony. There are even 12 vacation rentals of fully outfitted 2-3 bedroom cabins with an outside grill and picnic table. The park also features a laundromat so visitors can pack light and stay long.

For those just visiting the park one of the main attractions is the Minna Anthony Common Nature Center. The center includes a museum, varied habitats like wetlands, 3 miles of shoreline and open granite outcrops. They also include miles of hiking ,cross-country skiing, and nature education for those more active. The Nature Center has both educational and recreational programs for all ages. For the true nature love there is even a seasonal butterfly house for visitors.

For those looking for more relaxing activities the park offers fishing as well as golfing. The fishing includes local fish such as small mouth bass, pike, muskie, and more. As far as golfing the park features a 9-hole golf course found on the south end of the park. So adults can relax while swinging over the lovely greens.

Kids will love the park's arcade to game to their heart's content. The beach also provides excellent swimming with beautiful sand perfect for castle creation or even sculpted mermaid tails.
